System Requirements to use HD Boomerang
- LED/LCD/Plasma with at least 2 HDMI ports.
- TV connected to a Cable or Satellite box
- TV is CEC-compliant. Most modern TV's with HDMI ports are CEC-compliant. Is my TV CEC -compliant?
- Have a DVD, Blu-ray Player, Gaming box or other media source which connects with HDMI.
- Will NOT work with Home Theaters where only one HDMI cable goes to the TV
- HD Boomerang will not auto-switch devices that do not turn off. For instance, streaming media devices like Roku, ChromeCast, etc., as these devices function by remaining on at all time. However, these devices can be your main source of video (instead of a cable or satellite box) and then HD Boomerang will automatically switch a DVD, Blu-ray Player, Gaming box or other media source which connects with HDMI.
